What’s New from Alpinestars? Our October Motorcycle Gear Picks

by Bridge Motorcycles 01 Oct 2026

The new Alpinestars collection has started arriving at Bridge Motorcycles, with new motorcycle jackets, gloves and riding gear now joining the range. So, naturally, we asked the clothing team which pieces have caught their eye this month.

With the seasons starting to change, it’s also the perfect time for some of these new arrivals to make their way onto the shelves. Waterproofs, warmer layers and gear that can cope with a bit more British weather are becoming increasingly important as we head into autumn.

There’s a good mix in this month’s picks. Darren has gone for one of the new Alpinestars jackets, Olivia is making sure the ladies aren’t being forgotten when it comes to new arrivals, and Sam has chosen a pair of boots that may not win any style awards, but certainly tick the boxes when it comes to comfort, protection and keeping your feet dry.

So, here’s what caught the eye of the Bridge clothing team this month…

Darren’s Pick: Alpinestars Therma-Tech Waterproof Jacket

Alpinestars Therma-Tech Waterproof Jacket in Bridge Motorcycles clothing and accessories department, Exeter, Devon, UK.

We’ll start with Darren, our Clothing Manager, who has chosen the Alpinestars Therma-Tech Waterproof Jacket.

Now, whilst you might not necessarily find Darren styling this particular jacket himself, that doesn’t mean he hasn’t got an opinion on it. In fact, one of the things we know about Darren is that he gets particularly excited when new products start arriving in the clothing department — and there’s certainly no shortage of new Alpinestars gear to get excited about at the moment.

The timing of this one is pretty perfect too. As we move away from the warmer summer months and into those cooler, wetter days, having a jacket that’s designed with the changing conditions in mind becomes much more appealing.

The Therma-Tech Waterproof Jacket brings together the sort of features you start looking for as the seasons change, making it a practical new addition to the Alpinestars range.

Olivia’s Pick: Alpinestars Stella C-1 Waterproof Jacket

Alpinestars Stella C-1 Waterproof Jacket in Bridge Motorcycles clothing and accessories department, Exeter, Devon, UK.

Next up is Olivia, and there was only really one direction we could take her pick this month.

As the only girl in our clothing department, Liv is always our biggest advocate for making sure the ladies have plenty of choice too. It’s something she’s particularly passionate about when new stock arrives — because there’s no reason the men should get all the new gear!

So, naturally, her pick is one of the latest women-specific Alpinestars jackets to arrive at Bridge: the Stella C-1 Waterproof Jacket.

The Stella C-1 has been anatomically engineered specifically around a women’s fit, giving it a more figure-hugging shape without compromising the freedom of movement you need from motorcycle clothing.

It also happens to be particularly well suited to this time of year, with a fixed waterproof membrane and detachable thermal vest giving you a little more flexibility as temperatures start to drop.

And, if you’re looking at the Stella C-1 and thinking “finally, some new ladies’ gear!”, there’s more where that came from…

New Alpinestars Gloves Have Arrived

New Alpinestars Gloves Have Arrived in Bridge Motorcycles clothing and accessories department, Exeter, Devon, UK.

The new Alpinestars arrivals don’t stop at jackets either. We’ve also had several new pairs of gloves make their way into the clothing department, with options covering different styles of riding — and yes, there’s a new pair for the ladies too.

The Alpinestars Stella Ignite Ladies Drystar Insulated Gloves are another new addition to the women’s range, combining an insulated construction with Alpinestars’ Drystar waterproof technology.

For the men, there’s the Alpinestars Maxdura Drystar Gloves in Walnut/Black, bringing a more understated look alongside waterproof protection for wetter rides.

And for something a little sportier, the Alpinestars Faster V3 PLASMA Drystar Gloves offer a more streamlined style with Drystar waterproofing — another new option for those looking to update their riding kit.

So, whether you’re after something warm and waterproof for everyday riding, a new pair of gloves to see you through the autumn or something a little more sporty, there are plenty of new Alpinestars options to explore alongside the jackets.

Sam’s Pick: Alpinestars RT-8 GTX Boots

Alpinestars RT-8 GTX Boots in Bridge Motorcycles clothing and accessories department, Exeter, Devon, UK.

Finally, we have Sam’s pick: the Alpinestars RT-8 GTX Boots.

Now, we’re not going to lie… these probably aren’t the first boots you’d pick if your main priority was looking stylish.

They’re fairly substantial, they’re a little on the bulky side and they’re certainly not trying to be a fashion boot. But that’s also exactly why they make sense for Sam.

Sam has always had more of an interest in adventure-style and all-terrain riding, where having comfortable, protective kit that can cope with whatever the ride throws at you is far more important than whether your boots look sleek when you’re standing next to the bike.

And the RT-8 GTX certainly delivers on the practical side. They’re designed to offer comfort both on and off the bike, whilst providing the protection you’d expect from a proper motorcycle boot. Add in a full GORE-TEX membrane for waterproof performance, and they make a lot of sense for longer rides where you can’t necessarily rely on the weather staying on your side.

So, whilst they might not be winning any style awards from us, there’s a reason Sam chose them — they do the job.

Explore the New Alpinestars Collection

With new Alpinestars motorcycle gear arriving across the clothing department, October is a good time to have a look at what’s new — particularly if your current riding gear has seen you through another summer and is starting to show it.

From Alpinestars motorcycle jackets and waterproofs to new gloves, women-specific riding gear and more, there are plenty of options to get you ready for the changing seasons.

And, as our staff picks show, there isn’t necessarily one type of rider that Alpinestars caters for. Whether you’re looking for something practical for everyday riding, women-specific motorcycle clothing, or protective gear for longer adventure-style rides, there’s plenty to explore.

As always, these are our team’s personal picks — chosen for very different reasons, by people with very different riding interests (and, in Liv’s case, someone who is very good at making sure we don’t forget about the ladies!).

If you’re looking at updating your riding gear for the months ahead but aren’t quite sure what’s right for you, our knowledgeable and experienced Clothing & Accessories team are always happy to talk through your options and help you find something that suits your bike, your riding and your needs.

Whether you’re visiting us in store or would rather pick up the phone first, we’re always happy to help.
